Artusa is a graduate of 2007 – which the class has affectionately crowned themselves “The Superior Cass” this is in response to the friendly and ongoing competition from year to year as to which class is truly the “The Best Class Ever.” Attend any Leadership Orange event and you will no doubt hear about this ongoing battle for the title. Needless to say, all graduates from the program attest to the value and enjoyment that they get out of the program “This program was absolutely amazing. Being a County resident my whole life I still learned new things and gained different perspectives and met so many dynamic and dedicated people. I had a great time learning and getting to know all of the wonderful and dedicated present and future leaders of Orange County!” says Artusa.

For those unfamiliar with the program, Leadership Orange educates a group of Orange County individuals from a variety of backgrounds in a 10-month leadership training program. Class participants receive training on topics important to Orange County residents and businesses including education, health and human services, communications, government and politics, the environment, culture and recreation, economic development, leadership development and the judicial system. Since its inception in 1993 it has graduated over 330 men and women from the program. This year’s class all vowed to take a position on a board or committee to serve the non-profit sector. This class was truly committed to leading by example. Ms. Artusa has committed to joining the Warwick Community Center.
