Warwick, NY, – July 12th, 2004
Stuart S. Durland, VP of Seely & Durland, Inc., recently returned from London and Toronto where he addressed two insurance industry conferences.
Mr. Durland first spoke in London at the TEAMONe 10th Anniversary Annual Educational Conference 2004. TEAMONe is The European (Insurance) Agency Managers Operators Network, a group of UK and Irish insurance brokers (agents) who use the Applied Systems Agency Manager Software – the same system used by Seely & Durland – to run their businesses. The purpose of the Educational Conference is to provide training for users by colleagues who are successfully utilizing the system.
From London, Mr. Durland flew to Toronto to attend a similar two day meeting and to speak on a panel relating to automation issues facing Canadian Applied System users.
Stuart Durland is the President of The Applied Systems Client Network (ASCnet), the national user group for Applied Systems agency management technology. Applied Systems is one of the major software vendors used by insurance agencies in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.
“As President of ASCnet, it is important to share our knowledge and success stories with our counterparts located nationally and internationally,” stated Stu Durland. “Through automation, the insurance profession provides fast, high quality service to consumers and businesses. This is an important goal of our agency as well as our industry group.”
